The black sponge side is used to keep the horse's legs warm HOW TO USE COLD THERAPY Place the ice leg wraps in the freezer (included in the bag provided) until frozen, remove it and attach to the leg. Once frozen, the freezer bag remains flexible and soft to fit the horse's legs and joints.
