Burned cast iron: Dutch oven consisting of a 27 cm diameter pot and 5.7 litre capacity as well as a lid, both made of hardened cast iron, ideal for lovers of good cooking. Resistant to high temperatures. Robust, durable and dimensionally stable under normal kitchen conditions, as long as sudden temperature changes, falls or strong impacts are avoided. Dry well after cleaning to avoid rusting. Healthy without PTFE and PFOA: the iron particles naturally released when cooking with our cast iron dishes enter the cooked food, which leads to a healthy increase in the iron supply in your diet. The non-stick patina forms through use and regular baking, so the dishes are free of PTFE and PFOA. OPTIMAL ENERGY EFFICIENCY: Cast iron is excellent for distributing heat evenly over the entire surface, allowing for even cooking and prevents food from being cooked unevenly. In addition, it has a high heat retention capacity, which allows cooking on medium heat and keeps food warm for longer even after cooking. Ideal for serving directly at the table. Hardened with 100% KOSHER CERTIFIED LINSEED OIL: The Dutch Oven is hardened with 100% GMO free flaxseed oil and kosher certified, which meets strict standards. You will receive the pan ready to use, simply wash it with mild detergent and warm water and dry it completely with a lint-free cloth or kitchen paper. It may be that in the first few uses some food will stick, use a little more oil until the patina is strong and stable. EASY MAINTENANCE After washing and thoroughly drying, apply a thin layer of vegetable oil to the inside and edge of the utensil and then store. You can use sunflower, flax, coconut, rapeseed, avocado oil... avoid olive oil as it can become sticky. To strengthen the non-stick patina after cleaning and oiling, heat the pan on medium to high heat until smoke rises, apply a little more oil, spread with kitchen paper and allow the pan to cool before storing. Suitable for all types of cookers: excellent Dutch oven, suitable for campfires and barbecues as it can withstand high temperatures - ideal for camping or trips. It is compatible with all hob types: induction, gas, electric, glass ceramic and oven. Very versatile, it can be used for roasting, sautéing, roasting, baking pan and serving your dishes directly to the table. Not dishwasher or microwave safe.
