The smoke detector that attracts everyone's attention: Nest Protect is a smoke and carbon monoxide detector (CO) that can detect both fast burning, open fire and slow smouldering fires with a fire spectrum sensor. Nest Protect can send a warning to your smartphone, speak to you and even light up your way at night. Nest Protect tells you type and place of danger: The fire spectrum sensor detects both fast burning fire and slow smouldering fires. It is equipped with a carbon monoxide sensor (service life 10 years) so that it can tell you where toxic, invisible carbon monoxide lurk. All your Nest Protects share the type and place of danger clearly at the same time. You always have everything at a glance: Nest Protect sends a warning to your smartphone if there is a problem at home. You will receive a message when an alarm is triggered, the battery level is low or a sensor fails. And via the Nest app you can mute your Nest Protect in case of false alarms. Intelligent, not annoying: Nest Protect tests itself over 400 times a day as well as automatically once a month the speaker and siren and informs you when there is a problem. It also has a steam detection so that a pleasant shower does not trigger a false alarm. And the night light lights the way in the dark. Easy installation: Nest Protect is powered by six lithium long term batteries in size AA (included). Setup Nest Protect with your iOS or Android device takes only a few minutes. After you have added your Nest Protect devices to your Nest account, they automatically connect to each other.
