Our PrimaSelect carbon is based on PETG and is reinforced with 20% carbon fibres. This ensures an extremely robust filament that is perfect for printed parts that can be used in the automotive industry, drones and RC parts. PrimaSelect charcoal is a very useful material that has very unique properties. Blended with small, chopped carbon fiber strands, PrimaSELECT carbon filament provides incredible rigidity, structure and good interlayer adhesion. Due to the fact that there is very little warping, PrimaSELECT carbon is very easy to print and has a matte finish. The finished prints are very stiff and rigid and are very useful if you need a high stiffness-to-weight ratio object. PrimaSELECT carbon does not require a heated bed, but if you have one, set it to 35-60 C to get a really good first layer of adhesion. Due to the grinding effect of PrimaSELECT carbon, we recommend using a hardened steel nozzle for this filament. Using a normal brass nozzle is no problem, but it will wear out the nozzle in a short time. PrimaSelect carbon is rolled on a transparent spool of 500g of high quality filament. It is packed in a sturdy cardboard box and packed with silica gel to avoid moisture. PrimaSelect carbon is available in diameters of 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm.
