Brown cork: this brown coloured cork fabric is a natural, vegan product that combines the positive properties of leather and cork. It is created from the high-quality middle part of the cork bark - the natural grain is preserved. Vegan production: no animals or trees need to die to make the cork skin. The vegan material is obtained from the best cork bark pieces. The cork oak does not have to be felled, but forms a new bark. Made in Portugal (not Asia) Robust: the multi-layer manufacturing process creates a large, leather-like velvety soft fabric in 70 cm width with a very soft feel. Nevertheless, the fabric is very durable and resembles real leather in its resistance. Natural grain: during the manufacturing process, the best cork bark pieces are pressed with organic glue and then peeled (veneered). The natural colour and grain of the bark is retained and you get a unique piece with each cork fabric. Decoration and bag making: the cork fabric is wonderful for crafts and handicrafts. It can be sewn either by hand or with a sewing machine.
