DURABLE AND STURDY - This rug is made to last. The way the jute strips are woven results in a simple flat weave rug with a thickness of about one centimetre. This makes them ideal for placing under furniture as well as in an open space. The finished piece is reversible, which means it can be rolled up when not in use. Can be shaken or spot cleaned if necessary. If you place it on a hard floor with heavy floor load, you can use carpet net or similar to keep the rug in place. IDEAL FOR HORROUS, KITCHEN, LIVING ROOM AND MEDIUM THROUGH AREAS - The natural color of jute fiber No matter what style, this rug will perfectly match all types of furniture, be it modern, classic or ethnic. Please note that jute is a natural culture, the color of your rug may have natural variations and therefore may vary slightly from the photos shown. 100% NATURAL Our Dhaka rug range offers simple rugs made from sustainable burlap. Many of our eco-friendly ranges use jute, but in the Dhaka range it has been hand-woven by skilled craftsmen with braided details. Jute strips are braided and sewn together to create a pleated and striped pattern. No dyes or chemicals have been used to realize this rug, preserving the entire robust charm of the natural raw fibre. ECO-FRIENDLY AND ETHICALLY SOURCED Jute comes from one of the fastest growing plant species and its long, strong fibers make them ideal for weaving. The flat weave style is hand woven on a traditional loom and no machines are involved. Each piece is unique. Each rug is individually numbered, so you can be sure of its unique handling and ethical source. Our certification fees help finance inspection and educational centers for children and teenagers.
