The power transmission to the 6-stage oil bath gear takes place directly, and thus slip-free, via a plug-in shaft. The F400-G has twelve spindle speeds from 105 to 3,000 rpm, which can be adjusted via two gear levers. The height adjustment of the milling head is done via the front mounted hand crank for the Z axis. For drilling work, the pinol stroke is carried out via the side-mounted star handle, for precise delivery in the Z-axis when milling, the machine has an activatable fine feed. The travel path of the pen can be read on the digital drill depth display. The dovetail guides on the X, Y and Z axis can be adjusted without play using wedge strips. For clamping workpieces or clamping devices, the 740 x 180 mm swivelling work table has three T-grooves (12 mm / M10).
