This type of diet is used to determine if your pet has a feeding sensitivity, a food allergy, or a food intolerance. You start by selecting an unknown source of protein, such as rabbits. This must be a source of protein that your pet has not yet eaten. They combine the protein with a source of carbohydrates such as cooked rice or potatoes. Finally, add a source of vitamins and minerals, such as Trovet Balance to make the meal complete. Key Features: Contains only 1 protein source: rabbit Use as part of an elimination diet. No interference in diagnosis by other components (if the protein is used correctly) Can be supplemented with a carbohydrate source such as potato or white rice Can be supplemented with a complex of vitamins and minerals such as Trovet Balance.
