The standard version is produced as a closed shell with a T-cut, special designs as half shell or segment. If desired, the cutting cuts can be made as step fold, dovetail or tongue and groove. ASTRATHERM stone wool pipe shells aluminium are used for insulating hot water pipes, heating water pipes and domestic water pipes. The self-adhesive overlap for closing the pipe shell simplifies installation. Product details: Fire class: A2 according to EN 13501-1, as well as DIN 4102-1. Thermal conduction coefficient: 0.037 W/mK at +40 °C according to DIN 5261 | 0.039 W7mK at +50 °C according to DIN 52613. Melting point: rock wool > 1000°C. Density: 80-85 kg/m³. Temperature range: 250°C wool side, max. 80°C on the lamination according to EN 14707. Dimensions: basically any dimension is possible. Length: 1 metre.
