Description
The permanent magnet with adjustable pole spacing is used with the following 3B Scientific products: Lorentz motor (item - No.: 1002662): for demonstrating Lorentz force on a live conductor; device set electromagnetism (item -No.: 1002661): attempts to force on a current-carrying conductor, induced eddy currents and slide or paramagnetism. By using two neodymium magnets, it has a high magnetic field strength, depending on the adjustable pole distance. The field strength in the gap centre is between 20 mT - 1000 mT. The magnet can be placed horizontally and vertically on the extended head side. The iron yoke is black burnished, the knurled handles are made of stainless steel and the pole shoes can be attached. › See more product details
