This is an extremely porous drain hose specially made for aquaculture The hose is made of first-class materials and sinks to the pond floor in combination with a steel housing. Thanks to the round construction of the hose (inside 16 mm / outer 26 mm), it is ideal for ventilation of the filter chamber and use in floating and fluidized bed reactors Low internal resistance for excellent diffusivity, robust and durable, easy to clean, does not clog or wear, guarantees a consistently excellent flow rate Japanese breeders use the aerator ring for their koi pond, as it prevents dangerous oxygen deficiency in both summer and winter. It is also suitable for spiral chambers and movable bed systems to achieve the best possible movement A high oxygen content in the pond water is a prerequisite for the health of koi and other pond inhabitants. In the water, sufficient oxygen is also required to trigger the biological degradation processes of ammonium into nitrite and nitrite into nitrate.
