Simply wash and use again and again. Drop 'N' Slow, a simple solution. Designed to reduce fast consumption. Five bumpers are strategically placed and designed to complement the horse's mouth conformation and provide perfect portion control by limiting portions to small amounts of grain. No more grabbing large mouthpieces and continuing to eat without chewing - which often leads to choking in horses and may result in the need for a veterinary or medical procedure. Promotes natural feeding behaviour in horses. Another added benefit of the design of the slow feed is the inner grooves in the base of the Drop 'N' Slow. It provides interest in the horse's muzzle by activating proprioceptive feedback, which further promotes slow eating of grain and pellet feed. Our slow feed insert is effective for up to 6 quarts of grain. Durable against the most destructive horses. You don't have to worry about your horse removing the slow feed insert and stepping on it. It is made of durable polyethylene - the same material as many commercial feeders, designed to withstand destructive horses.
