X-Cel LX eyepieces, optimized for planetary observation, offer a 60° field of view through a six-element fully multi-coated lens system. Fold-out rubber eyecups provide comfort and increase contrast. Fold out and fold with a simple twist. A ridged rubber grip provides a non-slip grip, even with gloves. 1.25 inch cylinder with thread to accommodate filters. All seven X-Cel LX eyepieces have a comfortable eye relief of 16 mm and are parfocal so you can swap eyepieces in the series when observing and need only little or no refocus. The body of the X-Cel LX eyepieces is made of black anodised aluminium. Thanks to the flip-up eyecups, the height can be easily adjusted for different users. Turn them in one direction to make it longer and the other direction to provide a flat surface preferred by many people who wear glasses. A threaded rubber grip around the centre of the eyepiece tube allows for safe handling, even in damp conditions or when wearing gloves.
