The Kiwi Ears Quintet uses 4 different types of drivers, consisting of 1 dynamic diamond-like carbon (DLC) driver, 2 balanced armature (BA) drivers, 1 planar magnetic driver and 1 piezoelectric (PZT(PZT) Bone Ladder. With a total of 5 drivers per ear, the Quintet delivers an extremely high resolution sound comparable to professional studio monitors. With this advanced driver configuration, the Kiwi Ears Quintet not only delivers exceptional clarity and precision across the entire frequency range, but also a truly immersive soundstage. PROTECTIVE EDICATE DLC DLC driver has been selected as a subwoofer due to the high responsiveness and tensile strength of DLC, which delivers powerful bass with fast cooldown. 2 Knowles Balanced Armature drivers deliver natural and resolving mids - a classic example of why Balanced Armatures are so popular in the industry. We are pleased to announce the use of AMT Acoustic's planar tweeters in the Quintet. With an extremely low floor noise and high output capacity, these magnetic planar drivers deliver crisp and detailed highs. Balanced sound sound: a balanced sound signature is a basic belief at Kiwi Ears. The Quintet took almost a year to develop as it was difficult to combine all driver types. However, the result is a completely balanced sound that accurately reflects the best characteristics of each driver. The sub bass is strong and fast, with a 9dB shave that transitions into flat mids at 300Hz. This transition from the mids to the bass ensures that the lower mids are slightly warmer so that bass guitar notes can be heard in the mix, but the upper mids still have the neutrality of a studio monitor. PZT + PLANAR FOR ELECTRIC TRACK: Quintet uses a piezoelectric driver to deliver ultra-treble micro details and air. In R&D testing, it was found that the presence of the PZT driver significantly improved the perceived audio resolution, texture and soundstage, so integrating it into the quintet was no problem. This creates a natural sound without pollution or bloating. The highs reach their peak at 3 kHz to match the acoustic perception of the human ear's auricle, with a gradual decay into the upper altitude range. 3D PRINT RESIN SALL, MAXIMUM FLASH: For optimal performance, for optimal performance, we use a combination of a 3D printed resin shell and a carefully crafted metal front plate to accommodate the five different types of drivers. The precise cavity effectively arranges the different drivers, resulting in exceptional performance. In addition, each quintet unit is carefully handcrafted, tested and paired. This important process ensures that the left and right units deliver identical sound, guaranteeing a flawless listening experience. Two-pin plug system: The Quintet has a practical interchangeable 2-pin connector system that allows seamless compatibility with various 2-pin cables.
