Cut lemons: individually and carefully harvested, the lemons are pickled in brine immediately after harvest according to Moroccan tradition. They are one of the most important ingredients in North African, Oriental cuisine after the ripening period and are eaten with peel. ; MANUFACTURE: The untreated Moroccan lemons are picked from the tree, washed and sliced before being filled with coarse sea salt in a sealable jar. Then they are poured with boiling water and immediately sealed. Naturally healthy: high natural content of vitamin C, but also magnesium, sodium and potassium, naturally vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free and without added dye. Ripening: after sealing, the pickled salt lemons ripen for at least 4 weeks. During this time, the lemons lose their sharp acidity, the bitter substances are removed from the peel and the highly aromatic, fresh spice is intensified. The consistency of the salt lemon slices becomes gelatinous due to the high salt content and they are used with peel.
