High shear strength: 4026 double-coated tape is an open-cell open-cell open cell foam that provides a strong and durable bond for various applications. The adaptable foam structure provides long-term holding power at temperatures up to 230 degrees Fahrenheit. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, it features a durable kraft paper lining that protects against moisture and reduces edge roll, making it ideal for industrial applications, punching and automated dispensers. Applicable Surfaces The double sided foam tape 4026 (1.6mm thick) effectively adheres to various substrates, including aluminum, steel, glass, marble, tile, textured objects, plastics and hardwoods. However, it is not suitable for dry painted walls as you can remove the wall paint when removed. Its unique viscoelastic properties ensure strong adhesion to high and low surface energy materials, making them ideal for various projects. PRODUCT APPLICATIONS Double sided foam tape 4026 provides strong adhesion, supports moderate assembly with adhesion up to 14.3 pounds and tensile strength of up to 110 pounds per square inch in stainless steel. Ideal for mounting items such as interior signs, name tags, dispensers, air fresheners, acoustic panels, wire clips, picture frames, alarm sensors and other general indoor and outdoor mounting applications where the tape is protected from the environment. User Guide - For optimal adhesion, thoroughly clean surfaces with a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Apply the tape when the temperatures are between 21.1 °C and 37.8 °C (21 °C - 38 °C), press firmly on the surface of the tape for approx. 30 seconds. The initial application of the tape is not recommended on surfaces with temperatures below 10.0°C (10°C), as the adhesive becomes too firm to stick easily. However, after proper use, low temperature retention is generally satisfactory. COST EFFECTIVE & EASY TO USE 4026 tape is a cheaper alternative.
