For this reason, Extrema decided to develop a knife that can cope with any situation. The Ontos (Greek: the thing) is a pure field knife, solid and heavy, but still compact. Part of the top blade has a serrated edge, so you'll still have a sharp blade when you need it. If you have to leave your primary heavy equipment behind in an emergency, you will be glad you're carrying the Ontos thanks to its Molle-compatible nylon side-sheath. Emergency equipment is stored in a bag attached to the nylon sheath via a Molle system. This makes the Ontos a real survival tool.
