Low, tight and smooth bass: the S8 subwoofer delivers great bass performance. Features: 250 watt, 8-inch powered down-firing subwoofer with auto-sleep power saving mode. Solid hand-finished, front-ported MDF cabinet, dual line-level inputs (RCA and mini-jack) and LFE, selectable crossover frequency adjustment, and phase switch. Frequency response: 27Hz - 180Hz (+/-1.5dB). Elastomer insulation feet to reduce vibration and resonance. The S8 also features connections for wireless expandability via the audio engine W3. Works with: all audio engine powered speakers via the analogue output. Compatible with AV receivers or preamps and other powered speakers with variable line level output.
